As you may be aware, part of the site is allocated in the adopted North Norfolk Local Plan, with the entire site proposed to be allocated in the emerging North Norfolk Local Plan. Hopkins Homes have now submitted a hybrid application for land south of Norwich Road, North Walsham in accordance with emerging policy. The site
Hopkins Homes are delighted to confirm that a hybrid planning application for 350 new homes, including affordable housing, elderly care accommodation, open green space and access arrangements has been submitted to North Norfolk District Council. This will establish the principle of development for the whole site as well as some of the finer details of the application, such as details for the new homes. Details in relation to the care home, will come forward by the provider at a later stage.
A mix of house types, sizes and tenures will be delivered to meet local need as well as the inclusion of affordable housing. This will enable residents to downsize, upsize and first-time buyers to get onto the housing ladder. All homes will be delivered tenure blind.
